Two “very large clients” are eyeing eastern North Carolina for major manufacturing operations – but they’re also considering other states. Increased access to natural gas, which Duke Energy and Dominion Energy say is coming with the Atlantic Coast Pipeline, could be pivotal in luring them – and their jobs – to North Carolina over the competition.
