You may have seen recent headlines about a temporary halt to Atlantic Coast Pipeline construction in light of a recent federal court ruling. The ruling last week ordered two federal agencies to reissue previous approvals with some additional information. While it’s a minor setback in the process, the good news is it can be resolved quickly and construction will soon be back on track. The project team is already working with the agencies and expects the permits to be reissued soon.

The EnergySure Coalition is resolute in support of the Atlantic Coast Pipeline (ACP) as they work with key agencies to resolve the issues in FERC’s order so they can complete construction as soon as possible.

The Atlantic Coast Pipeline has been the most thoroughly reviewed infrastructure project in recent history. In fact, the actions taken yesterday by the courts and FERC are further evidence of this unprecedented scrutiny and the high standard that is being applied to this project.
