A recent editorial from Chris Tomlinson in the Houston Chronicle explores the juxtaposition of pipeline protesters and the environmental impact of natural gas and other energy sources. While environmentalist protesters believe they are protecting our vital resources by delaying construction, the opposite is true when other, less safe options to transport harmful alternative fuel sources are forced to be implemented to meet demands.
